A BRIEF HISTORY OF MRW

This company has held strong for over 50 years thru several major disasters any one enough to discourage even the strongest of heart and is still here coming on strong. -- In 1975 a devastating fire destroyed the factory all equipment and inventory, in 1989 a complete collapse of the factory in the big ice storm of 89, in 1997 aluminum wheel area burned destroying all aluminum equipment and inventory, and in 1999 another devastating fire destroyed the factory again and all equipment and inventory

Brant Chenoweth purchased what was left of MRT "Marsh Racing Technologies" in 2002 and changed the name to MRW "Marsh Racing Wheels" then redesigned and built new tooling and later moved to the present location

A Motorsports Tradition Since 1955 MRW was started in the mid-50's by a Pennsylvania racer who was unable to find an adequate supply of racing tires at an affordable price. Thanks to you, Your questions, suggestions, and feedback have allowed MRW for over 50 years to continue to give you the quality service you've grown to expect from MRW. Oval, circle, rounderound DIRT racers crash on a regular basis because tires fall off of cheap inferior wheels. Because your tire hits a rough place on the track you have a flat. What most people don't understand is that automotive D.O.T. rims have about .030 in. of tolerance in rim diameter specifications, but often vary .060 to .080 in. diameter.
