Read through these instructions carefully at least once before starting installation.
Note: BEADLocK wheels are not D.O.T. approved.

MRW BEAD-Loc  INSTALLATION

1. Place the wheel on a flat surface with the "BEAD Loc" up.
2. Remove the BEAD-Loc assembly from the wheel, setting the outer ring, and bolts aside.
3. Lubricate both beads of the tire with M. R. W. "BEAD LUBE", or other. vegetable based bead lube. Now place the tire on top of the wheel & shove it downward over the top of the wheel. The top bead of the tire should now be sitting on top of the wheel. Now center the tire on the top portion of the wheel
4.  Now lay the Outer "BEAD Loc" ring on top of the tire & visually line up the bolt holes.
5. Start bolts at the 12 o'clock & 6 o'clock positions & then the 3 o'clock & 9 o'clock positions. Tighten them just a little by hand. This will allow you to align & center the tire prior to snuging the bolts down some more. After installing all the bolts, this will be your final opportunity to check the centering of the tire
5. Using a "speed handle" or ratchet snug all the bolts in the same order in which you installed them.
7. Now it's time, to get the torque wrench & adjust it to 10Ft Lbs. For 1/4 & 5/16 bolts.   For 3/8 "OFF ROAD" bolts tighten them to 15 Lbs. of torque
8. Each "BEAD Loc" bolt should be torqued at least THREE TIMES.
9. It's now time to inflate the tire & we recommend using a safety cage at a Tire Store or put it under the race trailer  & use a remote air hose. Stand well away from the assembly during inflation. TIRES & WHEELS CAN EXPLODE & KILL YOU GRAVEYARD DEAD! YOU CANNOT RECHECK THE TORQUE TOO OFTEN!
10. To check for leaks, use soapy water. After following these procedures you will be ready to install it on the vehicle. 

YOU CANNOT CHECK THE TORQUE ON BEAD-Loc WHEEL BOLTS TOO OFTEN!
Check before and after every event! 

 

* * STANDARD TIRE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS * * *

1. REMOVE the valve core.

2. LUBE THE TIRE & WHEEL with soap, prior to putting it on the wheel. (We suggest one part Ivory Liquid Soap from the supermarket, mixed with three parts water.) A soapy solution spray bottle works fine for mounting and dismounting.

3. NEVER inflate a tire and wheel assembly without using a clip -on -air hose. You can order one from M. R. W. or try to locate one at your local auto parts store.

4. The tire and wheel assembly MUST. ...always be placed in a restraining device. We suggest a safety cage, or under the race trailer, or let the grease rack down on it at the local service station. GET well away from and stand clear of the assembly during inflation. Inflated tire and wheel assemblies are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. .and you -must realize they can EXPLODE and KILL YOU. ...GRAVEYARD...DEAD.

5. After both safety beads have popped into position, disconnect the airline at the gauge and let all the air bleed out of the assembly. It is now safe to remove the clip -on chuck from the valve; install the core and inflate to the proper lower pressure. M. R. W. has published this instruction information as a result of their own personal experiences. M. R. W. makes no warranties whatsoever, express or implied, oral or written, to purchasers. M. R.           MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING        
Tire changing should done by trained personnel using proper tools and procedures. Failure to follow safe mounting procedures could cause faulty positioning of the tire and cause the assembly to burst with explosive force sufficient to cause serious personal injury or death. Always lock rim on mounting machine or place assembly in safety cage. Use air hose with clip on chuck and extension air gauge.
